In Bremen gibt es eine traurige Kontinuität tödlicher Polizeigewalt. So starb Laye Alama Condé 2005 durch die zwangsweise Vergabe von Brechmitteln, eine bis dahin häufig durch die Polizei und den Beweissicherungsdienst angewandte Folterpraxis. Im Jahr 2020 wurde Mohamed Idrissi von der Polizei erschossen, im März 2021 starb Qosay Sadam Khalaf in Folge eines brutalen Polizeieinsatzes in Delmenhorst.
Mit unserem >Stattspaziergang< am Dienstag, den 15.03.2022 nehmen wir den Internationalen Tag gegen Polizeigewalt zum Anlass, um gemeinsam die Bremer Geschichte und Gegenwart der rassistischen Polizeipraxis aufzuzeigen. Unser Spaziergang zeigt Orte und Akteure in der Innenstadt und im Bremer Viertel. Die Stationen, die wir besuchen, repräsentieren dieses System von institutionellem Rassismus. Hier wollen wir von der Geschichte, den Kontinuitäten und der Aktualität von Rassismus in einsperrenden und strafenden Institutionen erzählen.
Seit 1997 wird am 15. März der International Day against Police Brutality begangen. Verschiedene Initiativen machen weltweit auf die Situation der Betroffenen von Polizeigewalt aufmerksam. Das Problem beschränkt sich nicht nur auf jene Menschen, die von Rassismus betroffen sind, viele marginalisierte Personengruppen waren und sind mit Polizeigewalt konfrontiert.
Wir werden diese anhaltenden Missstände anprangern, Forderungen stellen und uns solidarisch mit Betroffenen von Polizeigewalt zeigen.

In Bremen there is a sad continuity of deadly police violence. For example, Laye Alama Condé died in 2005 as a result of the forced administration of emetics, a torture practice frequently used by the police and the Evidence Service until then. In 2020, Mohammed Idrissi was shot dead by police and in March 2021, Qosay Sadam Khalaf died as a result of a brutal police operation in Delmenhorst.
With our „Stattspaziergang“ on Tuesday March 15, 2022, we take the International Day against Police Violence as an opportunity to show the history and present of racist police practices in Bremen. Our walk will show places and actors in the city center.. The stations we visit
represent this system of institutional racism. Here we want to tell about the history, the continuities and the actuality of racism in incarcerating and punishing institutions.

A Brême, il existe une triste continuité des violences policières mortelles. Ainsi, en 2005, Laye-Alama Condé est décédé suite à l’administration forcée de vomitif, une pratique de torture jusqu’alors fréquemment utilisée par la police. En 2020, Mohamed Idrissi a été abattu par la police et en mars 2021, Qosay Sadam Khalaf est mort suite
à une intervention brutale de la police à Delmenhorst.
Avec notre promenade en ville le mardi 15 mars 2022, nous saisissons l’occasion de la Journée internationale contre la violence policière pour montrer ensemble le passé et le présent des pratiques policières racistes en Brême. Notre promenade montre des lieux et des acteurs dans
le centre-ville et dans le „Viertel“. Les stations que nous visiterons représentent ce système de racisme institutionnel. Nous voulons ici parler de l’histoire, des continuités et de l’actualité du racisme dans
les institutions qui enferment et punissent.
Depuis 1997, la Journée Internationale contre la violence policière est célébré le 15 mars. Différentes initiatives dans le monde entier attirent l’attention sur la situation des personnes concernées par la violence policière. Le problème ne se limite pas aux personnes victimes
de racisme, des nombreux groupes de personnes marginalisées ont été et sont confrontés à la violence policière. Nous dénoncerons ces abus persistants, poserons des revendications et nous montrerons notre solidarité.
