Du bist für eine solidarischere Welt und möchtest Veränderungen nicht gegen die Gesellschaft sondern mit ihr umsetzen?
Mobilisierungen zu großen Politikevents reichen dir nicht aus?
Du hast Lust in Bremen-Walle praktischen Widerstand zu üben und Solidarität spürbar werden zu lassen? Wir auch!
Was heißt das konkret?
Konkret heißt das, dass wir politische Stadtteilarbeit in Walle machen wollen. Dazu laden wir Dich/Euch herzlich ein! Wir sind der Meinung, dass revolutionäre Kämpfe nur erfolgreich sein können, wenn sie Ausdruck einer breiten gesellschaftlichen Bewegung sind. Wir wollen raus aus der linken Subkultur und den Kontakt zu vielen suchen. Ein festgesetztes Thema gibt es (bisher) nicht. Wir wollen im Stadtteil zuhören und schauen, wo es Probleme im Alltag gibt, die kollektiv angegangen werden können. Aktionsformen können dabei Straßencafés, praktische Hilfe, kleinere Aktionen im Stadtbild, Kundgebungen, Demonstrationen und vieles mehr sein. Für die Zukunft können wir uns gut vorstellen, einen Stadtteilladen in Walle zu etablieren.
Warum revolutionäre Stadtteilarbeit?
In Zeiten von Corona war die Vereinzelung mehr zu spüren als irgendwann vorher. Doch sie zersetzt unsere Gesellschaft schon lange. Wir wollen die Gesellschaft grundlegend verändern und der Individualisierung von Problemen entgegentreten. Uns eint die Abhängigkeit davon, Geld verdienen zu müssen, um unsere Miete zu bezahlen, Lebensmittel zu kaufen und am kulturellen Leben teilzunehmen. Hinzu kommt, dass wir in unterschiedlichem Maße von patriarchalen und rassistischen Diskriminierungsstrukturen betroffen sind. All diesen Unterdrückungsformen sind wir nicht nur an einem spezifischen Ort ausgesetzt, sondern sie betreffen unseren gesamten Alltag; sie beeinflussen, wie wir unser Leben führen.
Für uns ist der zentrale Schlüssel zu gesellschaftlichem Wandel, emanzipatorische und selbstorganisierte Strukturen aufzubauen. Wir möchten Strukturen schaffen, in denen wir gemeinsam Ungerechtigkeiten und Unterdrückungsmechanismen erkennen, anprangern und gegen sie Widerstand leisten. Diese Strukturen wollen wir zunächst auf Stadtteilebene schaffen, denn diese könnte die Basis einer selbstverwalteten Gesellschaft darstellen.
Wir wollen Strukturen schaffen, die die Bewohner*innen aus dem Stadtteil zusammenbringen und die im Alltag verankert sind. Zentral dabei ist der Austausch über alltägliche Probleme wie Stress mit dem Jobcenter, Ärger mit dem Chef oder der Vermieterin, Belastungen mit Care-Arbeit oder Schikanen durch die Polizei. Dadurch wollen wir uns bewusst machen, dass wir an diesen Problemen nicht selbst schuld und individuell verantwortlich sind, sondern dass diese Probleme strukturelle Ursachen haben und in Unterdrückungssystemen wie Kapitalismus, Rassismus und Patriarchat begründet liegen. In dem Bewusstsein, dass viele Menschen von diesen betroffen sind und deren Ursachen nur gemeinsam mit Vielen überwunden werden können, wollen wir Kämpfe kollektiv führen.
Was wir in den Kämpfen gewinnen können, sind weit mehr als kleine reale Verbesserungen für wenige von uns – durch die praktische Erfahrung von Solidarität schaffen wir das Bewusstsein über die Möglichkeit einer Alternative. Auf diese Art wollen wir uns dafür einsetzen, dass sich zum Beispiel das Gegrummel in der Kneipe über den Vermieter zu einem Mietstreik entwickelt, bis wir als Mieter*innen selbst die Häuser verwalten, in denen wir wohnen.
Unser langfristiges Ziel der Stadtteilarbeit ist es, Orte und Institutionen zu schaffen, die uns ein besseres Leben nach unseren Vorstellungen und Bedürfnissen ermöglichen. Dies bedeutet für uns, eine basisdemokratische Gesellschaft zu entwickeln, in der wir unser Leben selbst verwalten. Eine Gesellschaft, in der die Häuser der Gemeinschaft gehören, genauso wie die Produktionsmittel und die Infrastruktur, und in der zentrale Entscheidungen gemeinsam getroffen werden. Eine Gesellschaft, die sich an den Bedürfnissen aller Menschen orientiert und nicht am Profitstreben Einzelner.
Unter diesen Annahmen wollen wir zusammen für eine solidarische Gesellschaft kämpfen.
Wer sind wir?
Wir sind eine Gruppe, die sich aus verschiedenen politischen Kontexten kennt und schon mehr oder weniger lange gemeinsam politisch aktiv ist. Wir sind in der Interventionistischen Linken (IL), dem Bremer Bündnis Zwangsräumungen verhindern oder in antirassistischen Initiativen aktiv. Manche von uns leben in Walle, andere nicht. In den letzten Jahren haben einige von uns Stadtteilarbeit in Woltmershausen gemacht und dabei erste Erfahrungen gesammelt. Wir stehen in engem Austausch mit der Stadtteilgruppe Solidarisch in Gröpelingen und vernetzen uns auch über Bremen hinaus mit anderen (Stadtteil)Basisgruppen.
Wir freuen uns darauf, neue Mitstreiter*innen für unsere politische Arbeit zu finden! Invitation to kick-off meetings of a left-wing district group in Bremen-Walle on June 7th at 7 p.m. at Karo (Reuterstraße 9-17) and on June 11th at 4 p.m. at office of the Falken (Bürgermeister-Deichmann-Straße 26)
You are looking for a more solidary world and want to implement changes not against society but with it? Mobilizations to big political events are not enough for you? You want to practice practical resistance in Bremen-Walle and make solidarity tangible? So do we!
What does that mean in concrete terms?
Concretely it means that we want to do political work in Walle. We invite you to join us! We believe that revolutionary struggles can only be successful if they are an expression of a massive social movement. We want to get out of the left subculture and seek contact to many. There is no fixed topic (so far). We want to listen in the district and see where there are problems in everyday life that can be addressed collectively. Forms of action can be street cafés, practical help, smaller actions in the cityscape, rallies, demonstrations and much more. For the future, we can well imagine to establish a Stadtteilladen in Walle.
Why revolutionary district work?
In times of Corona the isolation was more noticeable than any time before. But it has been disintegrating our society for a long time. We want to fundamentally change society and counter the individuation of problems. We are united by our dependence on having to earn money to pay our rent, buy food and participate in cultural life. In addition, we are affected to different degrees by patriarchal and racist structures of discrimination. All of these forms of oppression are not just something we are exposed to in a specific place, but they affect all of our daily lives; they affect how we live our lives.
For us, the central key to social change is to build emancipatory and self-organized structures. We want to create structures in which we collectively recognize, denounce and resist injustices and mechanisms of oppression. We want to create these structures first on the district level, because this could be the basis of a self-managed society.
We want to create structures of solidarity that bring together the residents of the district and that are anchored in everyday life. Central to this is the exchange about everyday problems such as stress with the job center, trouble with the boss or the landlord, burdens with care work or harassment by the police. In this way, we want to make ourselves aware that we are not individually responsible for these problems, but that they have structural causes and are rooted in systems of oppression such as capitalism, racism and patriarchy. In the awareness that many people are affected by these and that their causes can only be overcome together with many, we want to fight struggles collectively.
What we can win in these fights is far more than small real improvements for a few of us – through the practical experience of solidarity we create consciousness about the possibility of an alternative. In this way, we want to work to ensure that, for example, the grumbling in the pub about the landlord develops into a rent strike, until we as tenants ourselves manage the houses in which we live.
Our long-term goal is to create places and institutions that enable us to live better according to our ideas and needs. For us, this means developing a democratic society in which we manage our own lives. A society where homes belong to the community, as do the means of production and infrastructure, and where key decisions are made collectively. A society that is oriented towards the needs of all people and not towards the profit motives of individuals.
Under these assumptions we want to fight together for a society based on solidarity.
Who are we?
We are a group that knows each other from different political contexts and has been politically active together for more or less a long time. We are active in Interventionitische Linke (IL), Bremer Bündnis Zwangsräumungen verhindern or in anti-racist initiatives. Some of us live in Walle, others do not. In the last few years, sme of us have done district work in Woltmershausen and gained some experience. We are in close exchange with the district group Solidarisch in Gröpelingen and network with other (district) groups.
We are looking forward to finding new comrades for our political work!
